Do It Yourself – Make Beautiful Walls with MagicPlast Ready Mix Plaster
MagicPlast Ready Mix -220 is a polymer-modified premixed cement base plaster, which is suitable for both inner as well as outer walls. Convenient, easy-to-use, stronger and developed to bind better to its substrate, it provides an even surface to ensure faster and efficient tilling.
Ideal for application on brick, stone, AAC/concrete block and concrete surface, it scores over the conventional plaster in terms of application time, quality, shrinkage cracks, handling and storage, and wastage.
HereÙüè÷Ì¢åâ«Ì¢åãè÷s how you can use it to plaster your walls with ease.
Step 1: Clean the application area
Make sure that the wall to be plaster is rigid, and wipe out oil, grease, paint, loose plaster and dust particles from its surface.
Step 2: Dampen the wall
For better results, wet the wall to be plastered in advance.
Step 3: Prepare the plaster as directed
Take 6-7 liters of water in a bucket and add 1 bag (40 kg) of Magicplast 220, and mix it by hand. Alternatively, you can use an electrical or mechanical stirrer. Mixing should be done for 5-10 minutes based on the speed of the mixing equipment. Leave the mix to slake for 5-10 minutes and remix before use.
Step 4: Apply the mixture quickly
The mixture should be applied within one hour of preparation. When applying on concrete, make sure that the surface is rough. In normal weather, Magicplast doesnÙüè÷Ì¢åâ«Ì¢åãè÷t need watering for 24 hours. Curing should be done 2-3 times for 2-3 days once the plaster is completely dry. In abnormal weather conditions, curing for 5-7 days is required.
